In traditional Chinese medicine theory, our body is categorized into 9 different body constitutions. They are namely; Neutral type, Qi deficiency, blood deficiency, Yang deficiency, Yin deficiency, blood stasis, phlegm and dampness, and damp heat. So what is body constitution? Our body constitution is what we are inherited and influenced after. The different signs and symptoms show after our body is exposed to the external factors determine our body constitution. Body constitution is also unique and varies from individual. Some people are sensitive to cold while others may be prone to heatyness.
Our body constitution is also complexed. Hence our body can often have a combination of different body constitutions. For instance, a Qi and Yang deficiency body constitution.
